The Ho’oilina Foundation
The purpose of The Ho’oilina Foundation lies in the name of “Ho’oilina” which means legacy in Hawaiian. Our goal is to help leave behind a legacy to the next generation through our 4 pillars which are cultural, educational, health, and service opportunities. Our goal is to provide Polynesian dance classes and workshops where we can pass our culture to the youth. We have workshops planned that will provide a chance for parents to learn about ways they can help their children have a head start in life by having necessary knowledge on how to invest, buy real estate, financial literacy, etc. For Health, our goal is to have workshops that focus on maintaining a healthy life, especially in our Polynesian community and emphasizing the importance of staying active. For our service pillar, the goal is to have community service opportunities to show our community that we are stronger together and that helping others is important. The Ho’oilina Foundation will also help provide scholarships to those pursuing education and entreprenuerial opportunities. We must leave a legacy for our children that will put them ahead in their life, generational wealth is the goal in this foundation in cultural, educational, health, and service
